Chris Brown’s pictorial history of WCC, entitled Images of America: Washington Canoe Club, is the culmination of a three-year project sorting through thousands of images that document the WCC’s 115-year history. The book has accounts of floods and dramatic rescues, pioneering women and men in paddling, social events and high jinx, Olympic greatness and everyday living, all in the context of the remarkable 20th century of Washington history.

Additional copies of the book are $25.00 each.

If you wish to make a stock donation, please download and fill out the form and notify WCC Treasurer, Joel Rynes, (treasurer@washingtoncanoeclub.org or 202-714-1220), that a stock donation is on the way. This initial outreach is helpful so that we can provide you with a gift acknowledgement and tax receipt in a timely manner.

It can take up to five (5) business days to complete the transaction. The transfer must take place prior to December 31 in order for it to be recorded as a donation in the current tax year.
