High-fired Stoneware Casserole - The Goldilox Pot!
This one quart casserole is the perfect size for a dinner for four. Not too big, not too small. It's oven and dishwasher safe, thrown in a porcelaineous stoneware and finished with a quiet grey Shino glaze with warm brushwork decoration.
Dorcas Adkins, along with her wife Pat Muñoz, can often be found kayaking and canoe camping on rivers in the Potomac Watershed. They are both supporters of WCC and of many other river conservation organizations in the Greater DC area.

Dickson Carroll sculpture 'Rounding the Buoy'

This is a “salvage sculpture” made from salvaged parts of old or destroyed sculptures.
Dickson Carroll is an architect and sculptor who has been a WCC for about the past 10 years. He has his flat water paddle at the WCC for his JYS Learn to Swim and Canoe Program started 32 years ago.
Carroll makes furniture and other useful objects. He is also fascinated by landscapes and makes three-dimensional visions of specific places, often river scenes, which are built into light boxes with their own illumination. Carroll works primarily in wood, which is hand-carved, rasped and sanded smooth. There is a minimal use of electronic or computer-aided tools and he works without assistants.

During each tour out of Washington Harbour in Georgetown, we’ll cruise past some of DC’s most iconic attractions. Washington Canoe Club Oil Painting
Beautifully executed oil painting of the Washington Canoe Club, and Georgetown University, elegantly reflected in the Potomac River. The painting is titled “Georgetown” and is signed by the artist, Jean Ranney Smith, and dated 1977. Warm tones of green, yellow, coral, blue and gray evoke a tranquil fall scene. An electric light is included so the painting is ready to become the highlight of your living room, reminding you of your favorite place in DC. Jeff Lubin Photography Session
This certificate completely covers commission costs associated with an 11x14" Imperial Portrait with full artistry. The session fees are also waived for both sessions. There is an hour-long creation session in the camera room. Their creation session is treated as a full session and there is no limit to who can be included. When the artists' selections are prepared, they return to the studio for an hour-long projection session. The projection session is where clients view their portraits and collaborate with the artist on the elements of finishes, artistry, and how to make their portraits remarkable.
Jeff Lubin has been a leading portrait photographer in the Washington, D.C. area for over 37 years. His client list includes actress Lynda Carter, sports stars Cal Ripken & Ryan Zimmerman, and Robert & Sheila Johnson. From his small, atelier establishment, portraits are handmade, stunning display pieces.
